The WINE RIDE is one of the most fun “extra curricular” events we do – it is a weekend all about friends and relaxation and all about the WINE. The post on the Social Forum seems to be missing some of you, so I have cut and pasted a few of the posts so more of you will respond. (Even Army has not mentioned it and it’s not like him not to mention he’s going) Hotel reservations are pending so please RSVP (that’s French for just let them know that you are planning to go!)

4-28-08 CVCCA pays for all the hotel rooms with a single check. It will make it a lot easier at check-in if you privately send me your street address, cell phone, and preferred email address. 4-27-08 Yes - SAVE THE DATE!! It is going to be a fun weekend!! We are currently working on the exact $$ amount for the weekend. Just to give you a rough idea -- it will probably be +- somewhere between $375 and $450 per person (based on double occupancy). Single rooms - add approximately $150 more. This includes food on Friday night, Saturday morning (continental), Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. It also includes the wine bus/limo and all your wine tastings. The hotel, of course, is included along with some type of apparel (TBD) and a couple of other surprises!!We need to start getting RSVPS ASAP. The group size is limited by the number of hotel rooms we were able to secure and the size of the wine vehicle...SO...please post if you are interested. First come..etc....We will ride on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. These are casual rides and are based on time, not miles. We want everyone to finish at the same time so we can move on to other activities. The routes will be designed so everyone can finish in plenty of time. More info to come. 4-24-08 The CVCCA’s Wine Ride 2008 is moving to the Central Coast! The weekend is June 20th, hotel for both Friday and Saturday night will be included in the package.Our home base for the weekend will be Cambria. The plan is to ride bicycles in the mornings, and visit wineries by limo in the afternoon.More details to follow….. (This is a “save the date” message) Cheers! Janice
