    Congratulations are in order

Congrats to all of the newbies for completing their first century. You have accomplished something that very few people would even attempt. You are no longer a newbie. Congrats to the staff that put on the FCF. Nobody will ever know the countless hours spent on this event but it is first class. The sag drivers popped out of nowhere when you needed them. The rest stops were well manned with courteous people who would hold bikes and fetch water. Thank you Alan for the terrific pictures and last but certainly not least a big "atta boy" to Scott for not only completing a century with a big smile but doing it while dragging Mike and Sue along. Scott, you are an inspiration to everyone. I know I've probably missed a big contributor and for that I apologize. Job well done everyone.

to name a few more, not all...

<<The rest stops were well manned with courteous people>>

    for which riders can thank:

Granville Homes....and all the Assemi guys

Rabobank....who brings the Valley bucks for fertilizer and other ag stuff, not to much great riders like Gesink to world cycling

Clovis Hills Church...bringing the WOW to worship, and to women's cycling (hmm, gotta get Rabbi Bob Ourach on a bike!)

Fresno Cycling Club....sponsor of next month's Climb to Kaiser rides, and October's Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century

South Valley Team....not afraid to run a rest stop in the middle of nowhere....great to see you, Dana

Clovis Police Department....run by C2K finisher Chief Keyes, now also working to bring a Tour of California start to Clovis

and that's just naming the folks who put on rest stops, not to mention the bike shops who provided mechanical support, Fresno Ski Patrol for providing some medic coverage, those ham radio guys who always come out to the hinterlands where a cell phone is just a paperweight.  And Bob, please don't thank me until I post ALL the photos; sure I have 67 up, but there are another one hundred or more to go!
