OK kids, just a little advice before you embark on the journey. First of all, the climbing is in the neighborhood of 800 total feet so that's a nothing deal. What is most important is the intake of fluids and food. It's supposed to be warm tomorrow so make sure you're going through at least 1 water bottle per hour. At the rest stops, eat.. Don't graze, just take in some food and leave. If you stand around the stops for more than 5 or 10 minutes the legs will get stiff and you'll have to go a few miles to get them loose. The body naturally wants to rebel at a certain mileage and you will be exceding that mileage tomorrow. Just hang in there and the tired legs, back and neck will all be overshadowed by your accomplishment.
